In Sawantvadi, our vision is to establish a magnificent Shiva Mandir (Shivalam) of Panchamahabhootham, adorned with unique features and dedicated to Lord Shiva. Drawing inspiration from the rich architectural heritage of our land, we aim to create a divine sanctuary that resonates with devotees and stands as a symbol of spiritual enlightenment.
The name “Shivle” embodies the divine essence of Lord Shiva and symbolizes His eternal presence. Just as the Pragatheeswarar temple in Thanjavur district stands as a testament to unwavering devotion, our temple in Sawantvadi will stand as a beacon of reverence and faith, honoring the timeless legacy of Lord Shiva.
Within the sanctum sanctorum of our temple, we plan to perform prana pratishta with the revered Ashtanaga Bandham Yantra, a sacred stone worshipped by Sage Sri Agasthiyar over 5000 years ago. With the blessings of Sri Amarnath Swami Guruji, a direct descendant of Raja Raja Chola, we are committed to upholding the sacred principles outlined in the Agama Shastra.
